Botakoz Kassymbekova

Botakoz Kassymbekova is an Assistant Professor of Modern History at the University of Basel, specialising in Stalinism and post-Stalinism. She is the author of Despite Cultures: Early Soviet Rule in Tajikistan (Pittsburgh University Press ) and editor of Stalinism and Central Asia (Central Asian Survey).
